Ladyhawke and Sarah Larnach Art Contest

Photo Contest Info:

Ladyhawke is due to release her new album Anxiety in May and is inviting artists (including photographers, sculptors and painters) to submit a portrait of themselves, public figureheads or friends that "tell a story of inner feelings". Inspiration should be taken from the Anxiety album cover and from Ladyhawke and Sarah's quotations when they are creating their artwork (at the top of the art contest page).

Prize:

19 winners as chosen by Ladyhawke and Sarah Larnach will receive a copy of their artwork reproduced on a 12" vinyl slip cover containing a signed copy of Anxiety. Winners will also have their artwork featured across Ladyhawke and Island Record's social media channels. 3 runners-up will have their artwork displayed and promoted on Ladyhawke's social media channels. The highest voted artist will also receive the same top prize as the other 19 artists.

Rules:

Although this is an art contest, it is open to photographers as well as sculptors and painters. All submissions must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the copyright or other rights of any third party. Winners will be required to enter into a written license agreement with Ladyhawke. Open only to individuals who have reached the age of majority in their respective jurisdiction. Not open to residents of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Puerto Rico, the Province of Quebec, Sudan, or Syria.

Photokore ‘Asian Flavors’ Photo Contest

Photokore is a global creative community of photographers and designers, who can sell stock-photographs and illustrations through the site. They are running a photo contest that will "Capture your personal concept of Asia." It doesn't matter where you live, they just want to see your ‘Asian Flavor’, what your perception of Asia is, what Asia means to you? This photo contest is split into two categories which are People and Still life/Objects. Submitted images must be JPEG format for photos and illustrations, or a ZIP file (including original vector file and JPEG file) for vector files.

Prize:

This photo contest is split into two categories The winners of the people category win: 1st gets a Canon 600D 18-55 IS camera. 2nd gets a Nikon 1 J1 10-30mm KIT camera and 3rd get a Manfrotto Monopod
695CX. In the still life/object category the prizes are: 1st gets a Canon PowerShot SX40HS camera, 2nd gets a Manfrotto 190XPROB Pro Tripod and 3rd gets Lowepro Slingshot AW. There is also a special prize of a Fuji Instax mini 50x + Film (2 Rolls).

Rules:

Open to all amateur and professional photographers, as well as illustrators. Participants must register on the Photokore web site. Each participant may submit as many images as he or she likes. Images submitted and accepted to the photo contest will also be uploaded for sale on Photokore. All participants must guarantee that submitted images are their own works and they are legal owners of the images with all rights to them.

MINI Space: All Together Now Design Contest

MINI Space are organizing the biggest MINI get together of all time and are looking for photos, illustrations or designs. The theme of this contest which is "All Together Now" and MINI Space are looking for "the best and brightest moments, when old and new friendships unite, those times when it all comes together and everything just clicks." Due to this being a design contest and not just a photo contest it means you can manipulate your photos.

Prize:

1st place gets an all-expenses paid trip to MINI United 2012. 2nd place gets an iPhone 4S, 64 GB. 3rd place gets a Lytro 8GB Light Field Digital Camera and the popular vote prize gets an Apple iTunes Gift card (good for approximately 100 songs).

Rules:

Your submission must be 100% original work, don't use any brand logos in your image.
